Even in the rain we had over 20 people show up on the 15th!!! I will post pictures from our upcoming rides and the first day on the tigerhorse group link (above) that way everyone can post and put up their photos too!!!!
It was great to get to know everybody and I think we are going to have a great time all the way around!!

We are planning trail rides on the county roads in our area we currently have 14 horses and 1 pony that can participate in this program.
We will post the dates so if you'd like to join us on your own horse you can!!!!
These trail rides will be set in advance and will be followed by a pot luck BBQ and party there will be several dates during the spring and summer season.
We will offer to those who are interested the chance to take "your" horse to show.
So here's what you are looking at to become a member.
YOU MUST donate your time.....
There are no fees...but donations are gladly accepted hay, feed, tack, or any horsey related items.
1. MUST have a HUGE love of horses these horses are VERY people oriented and they want lots of facetime with their humans!!! Hugs, petting, brushing, braiding, clipping, hoof picking/polishing ect. not to mention riding. We have some rescues that are not broke to ride that need people just to come pet/brush them so if thats what your up for come on over! we need you too!
You just want to make friends and are great at BBQ, joke telling, event organization etc. come on over! age, race, religion unimportant MUST love horses.
2. MUST not be afraid to get dirty shovel, rake, clean tack, feed, drag the riding ring, all the "horsey work required to ride" remember this is a cost free service AND "not a full service riding barn".
you will be expected to be able to handle the horse you ride, feed it, clean up after it and tack it up yourself on the days you are using it.
Expect to spend more time getting ready to ride than riding (that's just the way it is.) This is a labor of love.
3. MUST sign a release to ride/use the property
4. MUST sign a copy of the ranch rules.
5. MUST be able to have fun and enjoy everyones company

This Saturday Jan the 15th we are planning a meet and greet !!
Come on over meet all the people who love horses as much as you do have some finger foods and hot coffee or some tea I'll have something for everyone bring something if you like I am thinking chips and dip, pretzels, corn chips, salsa, a veggie tray (my california roots showing there) feel free to bring what you like!
We will be meeting each other (obviously) and the horses figuring out who can come when, if anyone has extra tack (mostly looks like we will need saddles I have 5 western saddles 2 english and 2 bareback pads)
figuring out experience levels who on what horse...and the like.
I am hoping we can plan some BBQ's, Bonfires, pin the tail on the donkey hahaha I'll have to ask Heartbreaker if he wants to play he probably will he likes chips and salsa.
I would also like to suggest that we communicate on the tigerhorse forum that way we can all talk to each other the link is on the homepage?? is that OK with everyone?I think we will need a place for feedback...
I really think this is going to be LOTS of fun!! it may be cold on sat so make sure you are dressed warm!!! hope I dont sound to much like your mother there :)
So now I live on county road 150 dont get misled by mapquest they will send ya to 105 everytime 150 is not even on mapquest or my GPS for that matter so .....
please write this down or you will be lost....
I am off of the 36 if you are coming from Caldwell (the 21) it is a right turn onto the 976 and then a left on to 150 if you are coming from sommerville it is a left onto 976 and left onto 150 I am the first house on the right there is a big metal rearing horse at the end of the drive (not to mention all the horses all over everywhere else) so you wont miss it park anywhere in the front yard/drive and join in on the fun!!!
